A walk in interview will be conducted on 15 March 2012 at 11.00 AM in Room no 520 (Library Building) at Indian Statstical Institute, Kolkata for recruitment of one Scientific Assistant "C" on purel temporary basis in the Human Genetics Unit of the Institute

• Essential Qualification: M. Sc in Biochemistry / Biophysics/ Biotechnology/ Zoology/ Genetics with consistently good academic record Candidates having working experience in a molecular genetics laboratory will be preferred
• Fellowship: Rs 12000/- to Rs 16000/- per month plus HRA as per rules depending on the
• experience
• Tenure of appointment: Upto 31 March 2013 extendale depending on performance and availability of funds
• Age: Should not exceed 35 years as on 1st February 2012. Usual relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and extremely experienced and meritorious candidates
