Walk in for Senior Research Fellow {Chemistry} in CCRAS

The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) is an autonomous body under the Department of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha & Homoeopathy (AYUSH), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The Council is an apex body in India for formulation, development and promotion of research in Ayurvedic system of medicine. The Council carries out its activities and functions through its network of 31 Institutions located all over India.

Walk-In-lnterview for the following position under IMR project of CCRAS. New Delhi will be held on 30-01-2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the office of Research Officer (S-4) In-Charge, National Research Institute for Ayurveda - Siddha Human Resource Development, Aamkho, Gwalior-474009 (M.P.). Selection procedure will comprise of a written test followed by interview of candidates who qualify in written test, on the same day.

Post: Senior Research Fellow {Chemistry} 01 Post

Name of the Project and Duration: Development of a poly- herbal formulation for augmenting milk production in healthy dairy cows.
Duration of Project: 03 Years

Qualifications, Experience and Age Limit: Essential- Post graduate Degree in Chemistry with two years of research experience in relevant field. Age limit: Maximum 35 years

Fellowship:
For 1st and 2nd year Rs. 18000 p.m. + HRA
For 3rd year Rs. 20.000 p.m.- HRA

General Conditions:
1. Eligibility of candidates in respect of age will be determined as on 1-1-2014. Relaxable in the case of SC/ST/OBC as per Government rules.
2. The engagement will be purely temporary on contract basis and initially tor a period of one year w hich is extendable up to three years subject to satisfactory performance of the fellow. No claim tor continuation or regular appointment will be entertained.
3. Applicants should bring their Bio-data in the prescribed format available on Council's website ccras.nic.in, along with original certificates, experience certificate, etc, with a set of photocopies and two recent passport size photographs.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for the attending written test /interview.
