Person Specification :

• Should have an experience of 3+ years
• Good communication skills
• Should be proficient in handling computer operations.
• Complete understanding on the global regulatory guidelines on food,food safety and nutritional labelling.
• Exposure in the analysis of food adulterates and contaminants like pesticides residues
• Exposure in other MS based techniques like LC-MS and GC-MS with sound knowledge in mass spectral database and analysis of food nutrients using these techniques.

Job Description :

• Expertise in chemical analysis of food (Protein, fat,carbohydeates,amino acids,vitamins,sugars,dietary fibres, crude fibres, saturated fat) essential elements, calorific values etc.
• Skills in method development for nutrient analysis in various complex food matrices.
• Complete understanding of the ICH requirement on validation of analytical methods
• Should be well versed in handling sophisticated analytical equipment like HPLC, GC, HPTLC, AAS, FTIR, Spectrophotometer ect,should be familiar in various instrument software options.
• Calibration, maintenance and trouble shooting of analytical equipments.
• In depth understanding of systems and procedures; preferably from an accredited lab(GLP or FSSAI)
