Thapar University (TU) was established on 8 October 1956 as an Engineering College named Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. It is a University established in 1985 vide Sec.3 of the UGC Act, 1956 under notification # F.9-12/84-U.3. Thapar University offers Post-graduate and undergraduate programs in Engineering, Science, Management and Social Sciences.

Post: Junior Research Fellow, Senior Research Fellow, Research Associate(One)

Title of Project: Heterocyclic substituted quinazoline and pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine derivatives: Novel scaffold for Aurora kinase inhibitors.

Qualifications:
JRF: M.Sc. Chemistry (minimum 55%) with NET/GATE exam qualified.
SRF: M.Sc. Chemistry with 2 years of relevant research experience supported by publications/ M. Pharma
RA:  Ph.D. in Chemistry or Ph.D. thesis submitted

Duration of Project: one year or till the duration of the project/whichever is earlier 

Stipend and other allowances: AS PER CSIR RULES
