Educational Qualifications: The Seaweed Biology and Biotechnology group in the Discipline of Marine Biotechnology and Ecology at CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar,has pioneered seaweed cultivation in the country and currently embarked on development of technology platforms for effective utilisation of marine macroalgae resource for biofuel, chemicals and food.
