The National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS) took birth as National Tissue Culture Facility in March 11, 1986 with a mandate of basic research, teaching & training, and as a national repository for cell lines/hybridomas etc. The centre is located in the midst of academically enriched environment of University of Pune campus, Pune.

Post: Research Associate, Post Doctoral Fellow

Research Associate (One Post)
Name of the project: ‘The NASI-Senior Scientist Platinum Jubilee Fellowship" under supervision of Dr. G. C. Mishra, NASI Senior Scientist
Upper Age limit: 35 years
Qualification & Experience: Essential: Ph.D. in Any Branch of Life Science OR MD/MS/MDS/MV. Sc/M. Pharma with three years of research/clinical/teaching experience. Those who have submitted PhD thesis may also apply.
Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 22,000/- + 20% HRA
Tenure: Two Years and Five Months

Post Doctoral Fellow (One Post)
Name of the project: "Molecular mechanism for Regulation of lonotropic Glutamate Receptors by Their Auxiliary Subunits" under supervision of Dr. Janesh Kumar, Scientist 'D'
Upper Age limit: 35 years
Qualification & Experience:
Essential: Ph.D. in Any Branch of Life Science (MD/MS/MDS) OR Equivalent Degree. Those who have sub mined Ph.D. thesis in the area of crystallography and biochemistry may also apply.
Desirable: Proficiency in advanced molecular biology, biochemistry and protein expression. Experience in x-ray crystallography/ electrophysiology will be preferable.
Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 40,000/- Fixed
Tenure: Five years
