Vacancies for M.Pharm/M.Sc (4 Openings) at CEPS, GGSIU as JRF, SRF and Research Associate

CEPS established under the aegis of GGSIP University is engaged in research/teaching in Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Pharmacology/Microbiology & Bioethics. CEPS is looking for meritorious young researchers for pursuing research in the area of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Detection, Isolation, Structural Elucidation & Biological Screening.

Post: Junior Research Fellow, Senior Research Fellow, Research Associate

Following fellowships initially for one year extendable to another year:

a) Junior Research Fellow 01 posts

b) Senior Research Fellow 01 post

c) Research Associate 02 post

Number of fellowships may vary.

1.      Applications are invited only from candidates possessing a First Class M.Sc./M. Pharm/Ph.D. or equivalent in the relevant field.
2.      Upper age limit for JRF is 28 years, for SRF is 32 years and for RA is 40 years as on 31st July, 2014. (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates).

Stipend: for JRF Rs. 14,000/- p.m. SRF Rs. 16,000/- p.m. & RA Rs. 18,000/- p.m. (as per University norms).

·         Candidates are required to produce all certificates/testimonials in original at the time of interview.
·         Those having qualified in UGC/CSIR/NET/GATE examination shall be given preference.
·         Candidates working in Govt./Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Bodies should apply through proper channel.
 ·         Offer of fellowship does not confer any right for absorption in GGSIP University. However, Research Fellows will be encouraged to register for Ph.D. in the next academic year.
