Career for Pharmacist (Siddha) in National Institute of Siddha

Applications in the prescribed format are invited for filling up the following posts in the National Institute of Siddha, on Direct Recruitment /Deputation/Contract/ basis:

Post: Pharmacist (Siddha)- 1 Post (OBC)

Scale of Pay: Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2800/-.

Educational Qualification & Experience:
I. HSC from a recognized State Board of Education with Science & English.
II. Recognized Certificate in Siddha Pharmacy / Dispensing Course, the duration of which should not be less than 2 years

Maximum Age Limit: 30 Years as on last date of receipt of application.

The cost of application is Rs.100/-. Application format is to be downloaded from our website, nischennai.org and the filled in application along with the application fee of Rs.100/- by way of demand draft drawn in favour of “Director, National Institute of Siddha, Tambaram Sanatorium, Chennai – 600 047 should be received in this Institute on or before 01.12.2014 (5.00PM). SC/ST candidates are exempted from application fee and they should produce a self attested copy of the community certificate from the competent authority along with the application form to claim for application fee exemption.

The appointment is purely on contract basis for a period of one year or till the regular incumbent joins whichever is earlier. However the appointment can be terminated at any time without assigning any reason.

The filled in application duly affixed with a recent passport size photograph should reach the Director, National Institute of Siddha, Tambaram Sanatorium, Chennai – 600 047 on or before 01.12.2014
8. If any declaration or information furnished by the candidate proves to be false or If he/she is found to have willfully suppressed an material information he/she will be liable to removal from service and also such other action as the Government may deem necessary.
9. Application incomplete in any respect or received after the due date will be summarily rejected. Applications will not be accepted by E-mail or fax. No enquiry will be entertained over phone, e-mail or fax in this regard. Canvassing in any manner will disqualify the candidate.
