Eligible and interested candidates may attend the interview for purely temporary engagement as Project Fellow, Project Assistant Level-I & Level-II under different externally funded Project tenable at Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Lucknow. Project wise vacancy position, Date of Interview and qualification details are as under

Post: Project Fellow, Project Assistant

1- Project Fellow (1 No.)
Project No. PSC-00111(MIST)
Qualification : M.Sc. (Chemistry) / Envi. Sciences with 55% marks
Job requirement : To assist in the preparation of CRMS, and their testing.
Project title : Preparation of CRMS of pesticides.
Upper age limit : 28 years
Stipend : 16000/ per month.
Duration for which to be engaged : 2012-2017

2- Project Fellow (1 No.)
Project No. BSC-00112
Qualification : M.Sc. Biochemistry/Biotechnology) with 60% marks.
Job requirement : To study cellular response and redox sensitive alterations due to nanomaterial.
Project title: NanoSHE.
Upper age limit : 28 years
Stipend : 16000/ per month.
Duration for which to be engaged : Upto March 2017.

3- Project Assistant Level-I
Project No. GAP-252
Job requirement: To analyse the reproductive outcome of flies knockdown for specific genes against xenobiotics.
Qualification: B.Sc/M.Sc.(Preferred) Zoology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology.
Project title: Identification of Drosophila based sensors for the male reproductive toxicity.
Upper age limit : 25 years
Stipend: 8000/ per month.
Duration for which to be engaged : Upto 15.02.2015

4- Project Assistant Level-II
Project No. GAP-248
Job requirement : Research related to project work.
Qualification: M. Sc. Biotechnology + CSIR-UGC(NET)-LS qualified.
Project title: Neuroprotective potential of Cyp 2 d 22 in pesticides induced dopaminergic neurodegenration: Implications in antioxidants-medicated neuro protection “.
Upper age limit: 28 years
Stipend: 12000/ + 20% H.R.A.per month.
Duration for which to be engaged : Upto 28.09.2014

How to apply 
Interested candidates for Project fellow; Project Assistant Level- I & II position may attend the interview on the fixed date along with duly filled the down loaded application form by attaching the attested copies of all the relevant Certificates etc., and also a passport size photograph may be pasted where the space is provided on the application form. The candidates should also bring their original certificates with themselves on the date of interview.

Terms & Conditions: 
1. Age relaxation will be granted up to 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST, women and 3 years OBC categories. The positions are purely temporary on contract basis and co-terminus with the sponsored projects. Based on the performance of the candidates in the Interview, a panel of recommended candidates will be formed which may be utilized as and when the requirement arises in the similar field/area in the sponsored projects in future. Further, the above stipends are tentative and the same will be finally decided on the basis of emoluments received in the sponsored project. The number of vacancies are tentative and may increase/decrease.

2. Tentative marks sheets/Certificates and results awaited will not be considered.
3. Candidates who strictly fulfill the eligibility/experience and possess the degree/mark sheet in the aforesaid subjects only should apply for the positions. Mere fulfilling minimum qualification will not entail any right for consideration.
4. NO TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interview.
5. Canvassing in any form and/or bringing in any influence political or otherwise will be treated as disqualification for the position.
6. Total Tenure selected candidates shall not exceed five years in any circumstances. The total tenure of five years shall be calculated as per period spent on one project and/or different projects taken together in IITR or any other lab./instt. of CSIR.
7. Candidates have the option to interact with committee in Hindi
