Thomson Reuters invites application from Indian student for the post of Associate Research Analyst.

Post: Associate Research Analyst

Qualification: UG - Any Graduate - Any Specialization
                      PG - Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization
                      Doctorate - Any Doctorate - Any Specialization, Doctorate Not Required

Desired Candidate Profile: 
MSc or equivalent in a Pharmaceutical or Life Science technology, e.g. Biochemistry, Pharmacology.
Drug industry work experience is desired.

Job Description: 
To provide biopharmaceutical IP intelligence on the strategies for the discovery, commercialisation and exploitation of drugs for the Life Sciences patents content suite.
Interrogate diverse information sources, incl. patent documents, press releases, annual reports, websites, forms 8K/10K (in all languages), FTC filings, FDA Orange Book and extract relevant information to create value-added records to agreed productivity, volume and quality targets, incl:

1. Abstracts of pharmaceutical patents
2. Annotated comments on commercial significance of patents
3. IP Intelligence - indexing, links to drug records and commentary , incl.
3a. Competitive intelligence (licensing activity, litigation),
3b. Patent extensions, protection and expiry,
3c. Identification and update of best candidates from patents
3d. Company matching

Required skills:

Perfect written English.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
An inquisitive, analytical mind
