Walk in interview for Pharmacist (Allopathy) in ONGC - 3 posts

ONGC, Western Onshore Basin, Vadodara intends to engage suitable interested candidates for Kasturba Gandhi Health Centre (KGHC), Central Workshop, Baroda and C2-C3 Plant-Dahej for the following positions on full time contract basis for a period from 01.10.2014 to 30.06.2016 for the post at Sl.No.1 and from 01.07.2014 to 30.06.2016 for posts at Sl.No.2 to 9. Job is purely on Contract basis and doesn’t carry any liability on ONGC for regular appointment at any stage.

Post: Pharmacist (Allopathy)

SL.NO. 6 Pharmacist (Allopathy) For KGHC, Baroda
No. of Posts: 01 (01-GEN)
Qualification: Matric with Science, Holding recognized Diploma/ Certificate course of two or more years duration from Pharmacy Council/Statutory body. Registration in Pharmacy Council.
Consolidated Honorarium: Rs. 23000/- per month consolidated.

SL.NO. 7 Pharmacist (Allopathy) For C2-C3 plant Dahej (Working pattern 14 days ON/OFF)
No. of Posts: 02 (02-GEN)
Qualification: Matric with Science, Holding recognized Diploma/ Certificate course of two or more years duration from Pharmacy Council/Statutory body. Registration in Pharmacy Council.
Consolidated Honorarium: Rs. 23000/- per month consolidated.

Terms & Conditions

1. Engagement is purely temporary on contract basis. Duration of contract for posts at Sl.No. 2 to 9 from 01.07.2014 to 30.06.2016. Contract tenure will commence from the date of joining. Selected candidates will have to sign a contract with ONGC for the above engagement.
2. Except consolidated Honorarium per month, no other allowances will be admissible.
3. In-house OPD medical facility and premium reimbursement for floater insurance cover of Rs.5.00 lacs for self, spouse and 2 dependent children/parents will be provided.
4. Notice period of one month would be required to be given from either side for termination of contractual Engagement if terminated prior to stipulated tenure period.
5. Selected candidate will not have any right whatsoever to claim for regular appointment in ONGC by virtue of working as a Contract Medics and Paramedics.
6. Candidate appearing for Medics should have Registration as per IMC Act-1956 with Registration from State/Indian Medical Council.
7. Candidates for paramedics posts at Sl.No. 5 to 9 will have to qualify the written test prior to Personal Interviews.
8. Age for the posts at for the posts at Sl.No.5 to 8:- 30 years as on 08.06.2014 and for post at Sl.No.9 age as on 08.06.2014 – 27 years for General, 30 years for OBC & 32 year for ST candidates.
9. Percentage of marks in Professional qualification for the posts at Sl.No.5 to 8 - minimum 60% [Rounding off of percentage is strictly not allowed. Decimal percentage of marks shall be rounded off to lower digit e.g.59.9% means 59% only].
10. Working pattern for C2-C3 Plant Dahej – 14 days ON/OFF.
11. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to attend interview.
12. Reservation is applicable as per Government of India directives.
13. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
14. Caste Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, latest non-creamy layer certificate in respect of OBC Candidates in the format placed in the site.
15. Engagement on contract will be subject to medical fitness.
16. Candidates should down load the requisite application format attached and submit the same duly filled in at the time of Interview.
17. Candidates should bring all the original Certificates of Educational Qualifications.
18. Candidates should bring any one of the Photo Identity, such as Voter ID/Aadhar/PAN/Driving Licence.
19. Candidates should submit one set of photocopies of all Certificates(duly attested by Gazetted Officer) and one recent passport size photograph.
20. Candidates may required to stay one day more, in case of more number of candidates, attending Walk-in-interview.

Vacancy for post of Research Associate in National Medicinal Plants Board, Government of India, sponsored Project at Allahabad University

Applications along with the Bio-data giving full details including e-mail are invited for the post of Research Associate in National Medicinal Plants Board, Government of India, sponsored Project No. R&D/UP-03/2013, entitled, “A Pharmacognostical Study of Fruits and Leaves of T. dioica”, to work under the supervision of Dr. Geeta Watal, Department of Chemistry, University of Allahabad, Allahabad.
Candidates having Ph.D. or equivalent degree or 3 years of research experience after M. Sc. are eligible to apply for the above said post.
