Government vacancies for Pharmacists (73 Posts) in CRPF | Group- C posts

Applications are invited from male/female Indian citizens to fill up the following posts of group “B” and “C” non ministerial, non gazetted, combatised paramedical staff in CRPF on all India basis. The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent:

Post: Assistant Sub-Inspector (Pharmacist)

No. of post: 73
General/UR- 36, General/UR Ex-Servicemen- 05, OBC- 17,OBC Ex-Servicemen- 01, SC- 09, SC Ex-Servicemen- 01, ST- 04

Scale of pay: PB-1 Rs.5200- 20200 plus Grade Pay Rs.2800/- (Group-C)

Education qualification: 
1. Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board or University; and
2. Two years Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy granted by an institution of the Central Govt. or State Govt or an institution recognized by the Central Govt. or State Govt; and
3. Should be registered as a “Pharmacist” under the Pharmacy Act 1948(8 of 1948).

Age: General/UR Category – 20 years to 25 years, OBC category – 20 years to 28 years, and SC/ST Category – 20 years to 30 years as on 01/08/2014.

Note:
1. The above vacancies are subject to change (may increase/decrease).
2. If vacancies of ex-servicemen remain unfilled due to non-availability of eligible or qualified candidates, the same shall be filled up by candidates from non ex-servicemen candidates of respective category.

RECRUITMENT CENTRES
The recruitment tests will be conducted at following 07 recruitment Centres. The candidates can prefer any one of the recruitment Centres for recruitment tests. Recruitment tests of a particular candidate will be conducted at same recruitment Centre where he/she will submit application. However, department reserves the right to change recruitment centre of a candidate due to administrative reasons ;

LAST/CLOSING DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS
Last/closing date for receipt of applications at concerned recruitment centres for candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Laddakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, the Union Territory of Andman and Nicobar Islands and the Union Territory of Lakshadweep is 17/10/2014 and for the candidates residing in all other parts of country 07/10/2014.

EXAMINATION FEE
Male candidates belonging to General/UR and OBC category applying for recruitment to the above posts should enclose along with their applications a crossed Indian Postal Order for Rs. 50/- as examination fee in favour of IG(Med)/Med Supdt or DIG(Med)/Med Supdt and payable at GPO of concerned cities as noted below. SC/ST candidates, Ex-Servicemen and female candidates of all categories are exempted from paying examination fee. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance. Number and date of postal order should be mentioned in the application form against column prescribed. Please note that Bank draft or any other mode of payment will not be accepted.

HOW TO APPLY
Candidates can prefer any one of the recruitment centers and submit their application in prescribed proforma (Appendix-A) alongwith requisite certificates/Examination fee (if applicable) etc to concerned recruitment centre by post in sealed cover so as to reach respective Centre on or before 07/10/2014 or 17/10/2014 as in the case may be. Cover containing application must be super scribed in bold letters as APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ------- (NAME OF POST FOR WHICH APPLYING). One envelope/cover should contain only one application. Since written examination for all the posts will be conducted on same date/time on all India basis and also there will be different question papers for different posts, it is advisable that candidates should apply for only one post as it will not be possible for them to appear for written test for more than one post on same date/time.

The application as per prescribed proforma in Advertisement should be typewritten only on one side of foolscap plain paper and filled in by the candidates in his/her own hand writing, either in Hindi or in English accompanied by self attested photocopies of following certificates/testimonials. Applications received after last/closing date i.e. 07/10/2014 or 17/10/2014 as in the case may be, will be summarily rejected and no further correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

HOW TO APPLY ONLINE

(ii) The application is to be filled up Online on website gmch.qov.in by clicking on ‘VACANCIES’.
(iii) Before filling up On-line application, the candidate must have his/her photograph scanned in the jpg format, which should not exceed 15 KB in size and it has to be uploaded at the time of filling up of Online Application Form.
(iv) On successful submission of form on the website qmch.qov.in, candidates are advised to retain one copy of the print-out of the Form, which will have Registration Number/Application ID printed on it, for further enquiry.

ii) The Written Test will be held in Chandigarh only. Candidates with valid Applications shall be issued Call Letters/Admit Cards. These should be downloaded by the candidates directly from the GMCH website qmch.gov.in by clicking at link “VACANCIES” by entering his/her Registration Number/Application ID and Date of Birth. Call letters/Admit Cards will not be sent by post. Copy of Call letters/Admit Card will also be sent to the candidates through email-ID and will be available on the website.
iii) The eligible candidates are required to bring all the certificates/testimonials in original, in support of their qualification, experience and date of birth etc. and also NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from the present employer, if working in the Govt./Semi Govt./Corporate Body/Undertaking of the Central/State Govt, and in absence of which the candidate will not be allowed to appear for Interview.
