Government openings as Junior Pharmacist (67 posts) at hospital / health center / central medical stores

Online Applications are invited for fiiling up 67 vacant positions as Junior Pharmacists class-3 posts in Gujarat states's hospital / health center / central medical stores under Employment state insurance service, Gujarat by competitive examination's merit list.

No. of Posts: Total 67 posts [UR-67, OBC-09, ST-20, SC- 04]

Salary:
After 5 years: 5200-20200 Grade pay- 2800
For first five years: Rs. 9400

Educational Qualification:
[A] Candidate should be graduate in pharmacy from any recognized universities of India
or
Diploma in Pharmacy with 2 years of experience in hospital/dispensaries or in pharmaceutical company, established under 1956-company act, as medical representative
[B] Candidate should register under pharmacy council as per 1948 act. Candidate have to mention registration number in application. Otherwise application will not be accepted.
[C] Candidate should have enough knowledge of Gujarati & English.

Knowledge of Computer:
Candidate have enough information on use of computer as state government's Civil Service Classification and recruitment (general) rules 1967. Candidate should contain government recognised certificate / marksheet of syllabus decided by governments general administration department. Additionally, diploma, degree in computer knowledge from government recognised universities or institutes or standard 10th and 12th passed with computer as a subject will also valid. 

Age limit:
max. 30 years on last date of this advertisement

Selection procedure:
1. Examination will be taken in OMR (optical mark reader) method. OMR exam will be of 120 marks. In which MCQs of 70 marks for pharmacy subject, 25 marks for gujarati subject and 25 marks for general knowledge. General knowledge questions will include gujarat states and ESIC's questions.
2. Exam related all informations will be provided by SMS on registered mobile number until possible. Therefore, it is mandatory to write mobile number with application and keep the number till examination.
3. It is decided that Pharmacy subjects question will be only in english, gujarati subjects question will be only in gujarati and general knowledge questions will be in gujarati & english both for OMR test's Question paper.
4. Competitive exam will contain total 120 marks, in which passing marks for general category candidates is 60 marks and for reserved candidates is 50 marks. Exam timing will be 90 minutes.
5. For each wrong answer and more than one answer 0.25 marks will be deducted.
6. Merit list will be made on marks obtained.
7. Exams will be held in Ahmedabad. And if more than 500 applications will come, then exams will held in other centres like vadodara, surat, rajkot.

Examination fees:
For general category candidates application fees is Rs 350 + postal charges. And no charges applicable for SC, ST and OBC candidates.
