The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) was conceived as a ´Research Institute´ or ´University of Research´ by Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata, in the final years of the 19th century. A long period of almost thirteen years was to elapse from the initial conception in 1896 to the birth of the institute on May 27, 1909. The early history of the Institute is a fascinating chapter in the story of higher education and scientific research in India. Eligibility: We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 3 years postdoctoral experience with a good academic track record of primary research publications in reputed journals in the broad areas of molecular immunology, virology and molecular biology. Candidates with one or more of the following expertise have an advantage: immune phenotyping, multiparameter flow cytometry, deep sequencing, T cell repertoire analysis, HIV and/or MTb genome heterogeneity analysis.

Salary: Is fixed based on the prestigious DBT Centre of Excellence award to Prof. Annapurna Vyakarnam. Salary offers will be fixed based on experience and qualifications in keeping with DBT rules. Maximum of Rs 50,000 per month, consolidated.
