NBRI, Lucknow, a constituent lab of CSIR engaged in R&D work on plant sciences is looking for talented and qualified professionals having brilliant academic record with the zeal for innovative research.

1.      S-01 Area: Plant  Transformation/ Tissue  culture (Principal Scientist/ senior Principal Scientist):

Essential Qualification:- Ph.D. in Botany/Biotechnology/Plant Science/  Life Science in the  area of Plant  transformation/  Tissue culture,  followed by 03  years research  experience, supported and evident by high  quality research  publications.

2.      S-02   Area:  Floriculture (Scientist/ Senior Scientist):

Essential Qualification:- Ph. D. (Submitted / awarded)  in Horticulture/Floriculture/ Botany  in the  area  of floriculture/landscaping.

3.      S-03 Area : Ecology &  Environment (Scientist/ Senior Scientist):

Essential Qualification:- Ph. D. (Submitted /awarded)  in Botany/Environmental science/Plant Science/Life Science/Chemistry/Biochemistry/Microbiology in the area of Soil and  Plant Ecology/ Environmental remediation/assessment/management.

4.      S-04 Area : Phytochemistry (Scientist/ Senior Scientist):

Essential Qualification:- Ph. D. (Submitted /awarded)  in Organic Chemistry/ Biochemistry /Analytical Chemistry in the area of plant metabolites.

5.      S-05 Area : Plant Breeding (Scientist / Senior Scientist):

Essential Qualification:-  Ph. D. (Submitted /awarded)  in Genetics and Plant Breeding/Plant Science /Botany in  the area of  plant breeding.

6.      S-06 Area : Cryptogamic Botany (Scientist/senior scientist):

Essential Qualification:- Ph. D. (Submitted /awarded)  in Botany/Plant Science/Life science/Environmental Science  in the area of assessment/characterization and biodiversity studies of lower group of plants.

Application Fee: In the form of DD for Rs. 100/- in favour of "Director, National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow" payable at Lucknow (no fee from SC/ST/PH/CSIR employees)
