Applications are invited as teaching assistant in Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi

Teaching Assistant – 2 Positions (on contractual appointment)

Emoluments: Rs. 35000 – 45000 per month (depending on qualification and experience (consolidated)

Qualification:
M. Pharm. (Pharmacology/clinical Pharmacy/Clinical Research)/ M.Sc. (Clinical Research)/ MD (Pharmacology) in first division or equivalent grade from a recognized University/Institute. Preference will be given to candidates who are NET qualified or have Ph.D.  Degree in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Medicine or Clinical Research.

Desirable: Industry exposure, experience of work in CRO or clinical research projects sponsored by industry/Government agencies.

Career as Teaching Assistant - Pharmacy at Maharaja Sayajirao Univerity of Baroda

The Maharaja Sayajirao's grandson Sir Pratapsinghrao Gaekwad who founded the Maharaja Sayajirao University and settled the trust as desired by his grandfather. This Trust known as Sir Sayajirao Diamond Jubilee and Memorial Trust exists today also and caters to the educational and other needs of the people of the former state of Baroda.

The main object of establishing the Maharaja Sayajirao Univerity of Baroda was, therefore, to provide a distinct type of University-a teaching and residential University which sould have complete freedom in all academic matters and would be free to institute new branches of studies suited to the needs and aspirations of the region in particular and of the country in general.

Post: Teaching Assistant - Pharmacy

Qualification: 
(i) A Bachelor and Master degree in Pharmacy with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelor or Master’s degree.
(ii) Registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, as amended from time to time, including any succeeding enactments.

Desirable:
(i) Teaching, research industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization; and
(ii) Papers presented at Conferences and / or in refereed journals.

The duly filled application/s as per prescribed format is/are to be submitted to the  concerned Dean of the Faculty/Principal of College/ Head of Institution, along with a  bank payment challan/demand draft drawn in favour of “The Registrar, The Maharaja  Sayajirao University of Baroda ” of Rs.500/- (Rs.125/- for SC/ST candidates) ON OR  BEFORE 15/04/2014 on all working days. All the appointments, their salary, designation  and terms of appointment shall be subject to the approval of Government of Gujarat.
