Post: Team Leader (Health Systems)
Purpose of the Position
Contribute to implementation of WHO's Country Cooperation Strategy with the Government of India by supporting the work of the WHO Country Office for India in the area of Health Financing and Health Systems strengthening with a view to help the Government of India further develop appropriate policies, strategies and interventions and move towards Universal Health Coverage.

Education:
Essential:  Advanced University degree in Public Health, Social Sciences or Economics.
Desirable:  Post graduate degree in Health Economics, Health Policy or Social Sciences for Health would be an asset

Producing results
Communicating in a credible and effective way
Promoting WHO's position in health leadership
Building and promoting partnerships across the organization and beyond
Moving forward in a changing environment
Other Skills (e.g. IT): Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel computer skills for making high quality data analysis and technical presentations.

Experience:
Essential:  At least 10 years of work experience with progressive responsibility in policy analyses and advice as well as technical assistance to countries, including capacity building; and, contribution to normative work to support country policy and technical assistance.
Desirable:  Experience of work in UN and/or other international organizations

Languages:  Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
Annual salary: (Net of tax)
USD 80,734 at single rate
USD 86,904 with primary dependants

Opening for the post of Clinical Team Leader at SIRO Clinpharm, India

Qualification: The incumbent should be Doctorate/Master's/Bachelors Degree in Science with minimum five years of experience on Phase I/II/III trials is must in independent monitoring out of which one year of experience should be in line management working in CRO or a bio-pharmaceutical company. Basic understanding of the drug development process and understanding of clinical research process and ICH GCP is must.

The core responsibilities for the position would be Site Monitoring:
  • Manage and direct the efforts of Sr. CRAs/CRAs/CTAs and recommend personnel actions including, but not limited to performance management, scheduling and work assignments, disciplinary action, promotions etc.
  • Define and communicate job descriptions, core competencies, and performance standards and expectations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of reward and recognition programs in order to achieve optimal employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Coordinate regular team meetings (at least with the frequency of two meetings per month) and ensure team is kept abreast of departmental and organizational activities, goals, and policies.
  • Establish accurate and consistent productivity expectations and revise as needed.
