National Conference on Advances in Drug Design, Discovery and Development 24 to 25 July, 2014 at Anna University

Bharathidasan Institute of Technology (BIT) has been established as a Technical Institute under Anna University, Chennai by the Government of Tamil Nadu and recently sponsored with Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP) grant. It offers a variety of UG, PG and research programmes with an approximate of 3000 students in the campus.

NATIONAL FACILITY FOR DRUG DEVELOPMENT
The Department established “National Facility on Drug Development for Academic Institutions, Pharmaceutical and Allied industries” with the support of Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi with an array of State-of-the-art research facility including LC-MS-MS, FT-IR, HPLC, UPLC, HPTLC, Airway Mechanical Analyzer, Animal Anesthetizer, Multimode Reader, Inverted Fluorescent Microscope and many related small equipment.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE (NCADDD)
Most of the Pharmaceutical and Life Science Education & Research are focused with applications in drug design, discovery & development and requires constant updating and practice. This conference on NCADDD is specially tailor made for the Pharmaceutical, Life-Science Educators and Researchers for enriching and enlighten themselves with Recent Advances in Drug Design, Discovery and Development with demonstration or hands-on training sessions. The spectrum of topics chosen to be delivered by eminent experts in the field would be beneficial to career aspirants, researchers and beginners. To name a few, Software Simulations and Modern sophisticated tools for Drug Design, Synthetic and Natural Products, Radio-pharmaceuticals, etc.

SCIENTIFIC PRESENTATION
Research articles related to the theme of the conference may be presented as poster. Abstract of presentation not exceeding 250 words may be submitted through email on or before 7.7.2014. Best posters would be rewarded.

INSTRUCTIONS
Number of Registration is restricted to 250. Selection is based on first come first served. Filled in application along with registration fee in the form of D.D. drawn in favour of “NCADDD” payable at Tiruchirappalli may be submitted in person or send by post/ courier to Dr. P. Selvamani / Dr. S. Latha, on or before 07.07.2013. No TA/DA is admissible for participants. Working lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Registration fee: UG - Rs.250/-, PG – Rs.300/-, Research scholars – Rs.350/-, Faculty and all others – Rs.500/-

A National Conference on Alternatives to Animal Experimental in Drug Discovery

SIR MADANLAL INSTITUTE OF PHARMACY (SMIP) offers  M. Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics & Pharmacology), B. Pharmacy and D. Pharmacy. SMIP aims at enhancing the prestige that the SIR MADANLAL GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS (SMGI), Etawah has earned over the years of its establishment.
